I'm a SC member & trained Outings Leader. It's exciting that we finally have a Meetup Group. Now, let's get some outings on the calendar! See you outdoors while Exploring, Enjoying, and Protecting the Planet!
All of it! It and we are all connected.
Hi Leisa, sorry you can't make it to Saul Williams! I'm stoked that he's coming to Portland all the way from France...he's on my list of people to see in this lifetime. :) If there are ever any events you know of that you'd like to meetup for, let us know! Cheers, Ann
France or Italy?? Never did get you pinned down. lol... Nice to meet you last night - keep smiling! ;) Looking forward to seeing your smiling face at the next meetup!
hey leisa... was your message intended for me or for gary? either way it sounds cool and i'd be up for going (and for helping plan/post it). are you around tonight? give me a call and we can do it.
I hope you will be willing to sweep on the Dog Mountain trip tomorrow. Sorry if you offered already. I've been busy with business stuff this week.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting you (and your Father) during The Tillamook - Wilson River Trail Hike. Look forward to seeing you again before too long.
Hey Leisa, have fun at game night without me. I will be at the Blazer game so I am only slightly bummed I won't be able to harass you at game night.
I think we made a fierce team last time Leisa;-) As for the photo- It is late Oct. this year. We fast hiked/trail ran Cooper Spur. It was really warm and Elliot Glacier was way up the Mt. I've never seen it up so high. It was crazy warm and I was pouring sweat and shirtless till we did the turn around. We hiked past tie-in quite a ways and stopped when the ankle deep gravel finally turned to ice. I know- bad me for being past tie-in:-) I should be punnished. B
Hi Leisa, My best friend, last name Heyndrickx, has told me of this Verboort Sausage Festival event. It has been a family tradition with them as well- whether they wanted it or not:-) It sounds........ filling! Good Luck. Brian
I'm hosting a little party at my place this friday. Please come if you are not too far removed from your inner child:
Pumpkin carving party Friday before Halloween 5:30. Spiced wine and getting into the simpler joys of childhood (and adulthood). 206 SE 62nd Ave (just SOUTH of Burnside @ Ash). Backyard fire, weather permitting, or else inside. Bring a pumpkin and knife. Donations of scrap/fire wood welcome, cheap red wine/cider for mulling, or extra newspapers (for mess)
You are super awesome as Marilyn and as yourself! You crack me up!!
