PSYCHICS NEEDED

The Psychic Festival of Richmond is sponsored by The Baby Girl Project which is partnered with Free The Children to benefit our school building project in Kenya. The Baby Girl Projects contributions have made a significant difference by bringing education to six rural communities within the Maasai Mara region in Kenya. Thanks to the Baby Girl Project, Free The Children has built and furnished numerous schoolhouses in each these six communities,and provided many students with textbooks, educational material, school and health kits, latrines and safe water systems. The next area of focus is the Pimbiniet region in Kenya.

Up until recently, Pimbiniet’s students has little access to education. The local school was a building with mud walls and straw roof. With no windows, ventilation was a big problem as the dirt floor created big clouds of dust in already crowded classrooms. During the rainy season, the walls would melt creating huge holes and the classrooms would flood. As a result students would get sick and miss several school days. The poor conditions of the school, were quite demoralizing for both student and teachers.
