In high gear!

Our meet up has really been in high gear lately...we had a group out to play pool last Friday...some awesome meet and greets and the Karaoke and Trivia which has really been taking off as well.

There are some more awesome things planned as well.  For instance, this weekend we've already got over 20 people signed up for board game night at Tomato Jakes and NEXT weekend we have a Luau party.

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for making this such a great place to meet new friends and hope you'll all post your reviews on our page.  Let's keep this momentum going into the summer time!

Also, I will not be able to make a meet and greet for the 25th because I will be out of town, if someone is interested in hosting one, let me know!  Otherwise, make sure to sign up for this one.

On a side note, I wanted to let everyone know about some great deal's in downtown Raleigh.  As you know I don't plan a whole lot of things on the weekend and sometimes new people want to know some awesome places to check out.

Here are a list of some of my favorites.

Draft - it's on Glenwood Ave. and they have some of the best burgers in the Triangle...all local hormone free beef...the best thing about Draft though is that on Friday's, it's 4 dollars for any drink in the bar.

Noir - (Glenwood Ave.) It's pretty awesome for dancing, if that's your scene.  Being as I'm a white Jewish guy, I really don't have a lot of hope when it comes to the dance floor, but some of our members love this place when they're in the mood to get down.

Frankies Fun Park - (Brier Creek) Air hockey?  Check.  Laser tag?  Check.  Go Karts? Check.  So what's missing?  Nothing because yeah, they have a full bar.  It's great for a date OR just to blow off some steam with some friends...can get a little pricey though.

Pie Bird - (Downtown) I don't know anyone who isn't into pie.   Pie Bird specializes in both sweet and savory pies, plus they have a bar and some unique drinks.  The food is seasonal, so check back there often for the best Raleigh has to offer in Pies.

No, these places aren't paying me, I just wanted to give some shout outs to places that we've done events at in the past and wanted to share with all of you.  If you'd like I can shout out some more places next email!  Hope to see you all soon!
