A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again, by David Foster Wallace

Hello to everyone on this beautiful day!!

The results of the voting for the June book are in and the winner - by a huge margin - is......

A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again: Essays and Arguments by David Foster Wallace.

I have no idea yet where to find this book, so if anyone can steer us in the right direction, it would be appreciated. In the meantime, I will also check around.

For the time being, I have scheduled the meeting at the same place as usual, but perhaps we can meet in a park instead, since the weather will probably be nice.

I will keep you posted.

Hope to see you all soon.

A mixed bag. Loved some of the essays and hated others.

Sorry for the short notice, Renée, but something urgent has just come up. I really was looking forward to my first Reader meetup! Next time, I hope.

Sorry Renée, can't come in the end. Clashed with the dentist, so I won't be there with you and the "Baywatch" crowd (or David Lynch). See you next time

Hi! I was looking forward to this meetup but, alas, no go this time. I will make it one day. Have UNrsvp'ed to make space. Enjoy.

I reckon you've been able to find the book by now, but in case you haven't and are the happy owner of an E-reader, I've got mine from Kobobooks for just 6,99 euros. Hope it helps

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
