Welcome to The Reading Spanish Meetup Group!
This is a friendly gathering of people living in the City of Reading and nearby towns who enjoy speaking Spanish and share an interest in Spanish and Latin American culture in general. We meet every two weeks on Wednesday evenings for a few drinks and Spanish conversation at a pub in the centre of Reading, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We also have meetups ocassionally on Fridays or Saturdays, which are great if you cannot come on Wednesdays.
*** Please note that "Reading" is the name of a city outside of London, England, and this group is about Spanish conversation, not "reading Spanish" ***
We also aim to support and help native Spanish speakers by providing them with the opportunity at these meetings to meet native English speakers and to arrange informal exchanges with them to help them practice speaking English.
If you are a native Spanish speaker or are a Spanish learner / improver then you are most welcome to join the group. Note, however, that if you do not know any Spanish at all, and are not studying Spanish, then the group will not be useful for you as we do not provide classes.
