Welcome! We are a group of new, seasoned and soon-to-be stepmoms looking to swap stories, share tips and make solid connections with other like-minded women. We also like to laugh, eat and drink, so we typically choose wine bars, bistros and cafes to gather. Our group doesn’t have discussion points or an agenda. We just talk. It’s a pretty loosey-goosey arrangement.

I started this stepmom group because I believe that when we step out of the shadows and make ourselves visible, we force the culture to see us for who we really are (we don’t all ride broomsticks) and when we connect, we feel empowered (something often missing in the stepmothering role).

I really believe the more we speak up, the sooner we can look forward to a mainstream discussion on the truth about stepmotherhood.
