THE RELATIONSHIP CIRCLE: Victoria, BC Are your friends giving you a blank stare when you voice the same complaints about your partner again and again? Does your spouse reply with a distant nod when you talk about how your boss ‘did that thing again’? Or have you stopped talking about (or having) romance due to a heartbreaking past experience? If any of these, or other relationship woes apply to you (as they do most of us!) bring yourself out for dinner and into enlightening and inspiring conversation about relationships. Here we’ll share, support one another, and discover new perspectives to apply. We'll get unstuck. We’ll create community, confidentiality, and consciousness in our relationships. We’ll practice articulating what is bothering us, and communicating it effectively. We’ll create a container of space to air what isn’t working, celebrate what is, and share in our experiences of relationships. Bring the conversations that keep coming up in your life, and the ones you avoid, to the table and come away with a fresh new perspective to apply in your life. My name is Tamara Pierson, and I am a Coach. My job is to work with people to move forward in all aspects of their lives, and I’ve found that relationships are one of the areas, as humans, that we require the most support. My passion is to create space for people to open up, bring light to issues that have them stuck, and discover new perspectives from which to move forward. For me, relationships have been both the most rewarding and the most challenging aspects of my life, in all areas, from romance, familial, and professional spheres. What I’ve found is that the insight and perspective that I require to move forward comes in communicating with others. No person is an island, and working together we can create more consciousness for our selves and each other. The Relationship Circle conversation will be created by each of you and what you bring to the table. My job will be to create some structure and agreements for confidentiality and respect, moderate the flow, introduce some coaching concepts, listen with the ear and heart of a coach, and to participate with my own relationship experiences. Ideally we’ll have a blend of men and women, and over time, a wide range of topics to cover. Let’s use this conversation to empower ourselves in our relationships! WHO: you. your friends. your spouse. your siblings. anyone desiring a fresh conversation about relationships, willing to participate respectfully, and who will honor confidentially. WHAT? dinner and group conversation about relationships with a coach. other than the price of your meal, there is no cost involved. WHERE? Vista 18. a lovely place to get some altitude about our lives, and nourishment for our bodies and our relationships! WHEN? over dinner, on Tuesday evenings. sometimes in series. sometimes monthly dinners. WHY? to create a new and conscious conversation, and fresh perspectives, in the relationships of our lives.

HOW DID THE RELATIONSHIP CIRCLE GET STARTED? Two years ago, in Washington DC, Gregg DeMammos founded the concept of THE RELATIONSHIP CIRCLE. They have more than three hundred people now who gather regularly (not all at once, though they do have a happy hour starting this month!) to talk relationships. People there have laughed, cried, fumed and forgiven as they come to breakthroughs in their relationships. This is a powerful conversation! You can read more about Gregg and The Relationship Circle here: I've been working with Gregg for six months to bring this model to other cities and towns across the continent. This is the first group outside of the founding group to launch, and there will soon be many more. Join the conversation! WHO AM I? You can read a little more about me here:
