Join us for day trips that include hikes (our most frequent activity), flat water kayaking, off road biking, and occasional special events that include whitewater rafting, xc skiing, snowshoeing, music festivals or museum visits.

The Road Not Taken is aimed at intermediate and advanced hikers. Our hikes are typically 7-12 miles in length and take anywhere from 3-5 hours to complete. Events take place throughout New Jersey and occasionally Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New York.

All outing participants are required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver
3. Our Impact on the Environment
We respect our surroundings. In the interest of safety and preservation of our environnment (Leave No Trace http://www.lnt.org/index.php) group sizes are limited accordingly.
4. Members
Anyone gay, straight, married, single, aged 18 years or older is welcome to join (we just ask that you be physically fit, kind to your fellow group members, and have a love of the outdoors).
