Join us for day trips that include hikes (our most frequent activity), flat water kayaking, off road biking, and occasional special events that include film or music festivals, snowshoeing, trail maintenance, beach cleanups, or museum visits.
The Road Not Taken hikes are typically 7-12 miles in length and take anywhere from 3-5 hours to complete. Events take place throughout New Jersey and occasionally Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New York.

Anyone gay, straight, married, single, aged 18 years or older is welcome to join (we just ask that you be physically fit, kind to your fellow group members, and have a love of the outdoors).

There may be times when there is a fee to participate in a particular activity (e.g. equipment rentals or admission fees) but you will never be charged for the time our experienced volunteers spend organizing or leading events. **
