Hi, I am Lainie, the creator of the Roanoke Cooking Chicks. I created this group for women who love to cook, enjoy wine and get together. We have themed events at different members' homes. The hostess gets to choose the date, the theme and the time. The hostess will provide the main dish and the others bring theme-oriented appetizers, side dishes, drinks and desserts. It doesn’t have to be fancy, and you don’t have to be a great cook to join. The group can evolve as we choose – we can go to restaurants, host cooking classes or bring along guests sometimes, too. Whether you like to cook or want to learn or just like to have a nice evening out, we’d love to have you!
