Try out your dream lens

we'll meet at Highland Park at 7:00 near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. There is plenty of free parking. Check out http://www.monroecoun... for more information about how to find the area. We will have the complete inventory of Tamron lens for Nikon and Cannon mounts. If you don't have either camera system, come along to learn what you're missing (just kidding). If you're looking to upgrade your camera or lens, this is one you don't want to miss.

Hahn Photo will be our host. (Thanks guys).

I could not find the meeting place at first. It was advertised as being at 171 Reservoir Avenue, but it was at 1440 South Avenue. Better directions would be nice.

As this was my first meetup, I did not know what to expect. I think the concept is good and I look forward to coming to more meetups and to the monthly meetings.

Was a really good turn out. I own a Olympus camera so the lenses didn't work for me. I knew this going, but figured I would check it out anyways.

I was impressed how many lenses they did have there.

Overall a good time invested. Thanks to Hahn photo and Tamron for letting me try out my dream lens: The[masked]mm 2.8. Very fast glass, quiet motor and sharp focus. A little heavy around the neck but expected...this might just be the the next lens that I purchase. Thanks guys!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
