Tonight, 7-9 p.m., presentation on the "Photographie Humaniste" tradition in France (Kertész, Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau, Ronis, etc. ...) from the 1920s to the 1970s as part of my series of lectures on the history of photography at the Spectrum gallery, 100 College Av., Rochester NY. Tomorrow will be the Magnum agency (Capa, Cartier-Bresson, Koudelka, Depardon, and many, many others.... ).
