The Favored Daughter @ The Spot being led by Kara instead of Regina

The book for Janurary is The Favored Daughter by Fawzia Koofi. We will be meeting Janurary 29th at 7pm (I am sorry for the change when I called last week to reserve balcony area they already had it booked until 9pm that night and said we wouldn't be able to be up there)

Location are usual spot at The Spot since everyone seems to like it so far.

I will be bringing questions related to the book with me that we can either follow or not depending on how the discussion is going.

Hope to see you there!

You don't need a kindle or nook to use the apps...if you have the ability to download either app...you can download e-books to your device such as a smartphone, ipad, etc... :) Maybe you already knew that!! Definitely cheaper for newer hardcover only books. I paid less than 1/2 price.

Hello, looks like I found this group just in time! Let's see if I can manage to read the book before the meeting. Where is the "usual spot" at The Spot?

The Barners and Noble in Henrietta has a reading room on the second floor that is free and open to the public. There is a cafe on the first floor for those who might want a drink or snack. Let me know if that is a central location and I'll see about reserving it.

I just downloaded it from Amazon for $12. I thought that was cheap since was an e-book. Has anyone gone through audible.com?
