The Rochester Walkers' Group is a great way to meet new people, explore new places, and to get outdoors and enjoy the weather. We usually walk about five miles at a fast pace in an hour and a half. We walk through Municipal Park, on Paint Creek Trail, Dinosaur Hill and the Clinton River Trail. It's a very scenic nature walk and the time goes by relitivly fast when your talking to other group members. It's a lot of fun! Keep in mind that you will be participating in walks and all activities at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your health and fitness levels and ensuring you are up for taking a walk. I will try to access how "difficult" a walking route is, but I am not a fitness trainer or professional "walker". I'm just someone like many of you wanting to go on a social outing and get some exercise.
In joining The Rochester Walkers' Group you are doing so at your own risk and the responsibility is yours alone when participating in walks.
I do encourage you all to bring the following on the walks: water, sunscreen, hat and good study shoes.
