Celebrate the Full Aquarius Moon
This Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Aquarius
This means She is reflecting the light from the Sun, which is in Leo.
The energy of Aquarius reminds us to acknowledge our friends and loved ones, to open our selves to the special balance between the Sun and Moon which can help us in being warm and friendly toward others, even treating strangers as if they are special.
At this Full Moon we will be using the ritual text from The Ritual of Lothloriën. For those who do not have a copy of this ritual script (we all read the passages aloud, together), there are two copies kept on site which are available to be used.
The Full Aquarius Moon is when we annually have “The Reading of the Names.” Everyone is asked to participate. A container holding slips of paper will be passed around. On each slip of paper is the name of a Rowan Tree Member or a friend of The Rowan Tree Church. Read the name aloud (including where they currently reside), then drop it into the cauldron.
This Ritual begins promptly at 7:00 pm [as there are other Members in other locations who work simultaneously with us]. Please be here, changed into your robes (wear something special if you do not have a ritual robe) and able to create quiet, mentally focused time prior to our starting.
This Full Moon will be celebrated with Rev. Frank [‘Lizard’] Cordeiro who will be coming up from Cave Junction, Oregon to house sot and garden watch while Revs. Paul and gerry are attending the Retreat at Yellowstone. Lay Minister Heather Bennet will also be assisting.
We will be meeting in The Studio, located a few blocks north of Adair House in downtown Redmond. When you RSVP, if you need directions send me a message by email and I will send you a pdf file (I must have an email address). This is a private studio which is part of someone’s home and not a public venue. It is essential that you aid us in maintaining discretion. Not all residents in this area are comfortable with religious diversity. If you need to ask someone you do not know if you're at the right location, please just ask "Is this where the meetup is?"
