Please take a moment to answer the following polls/surveys upon joining. We wish to better serve you as we seek to STOP Domestic Human Traffic & Forced Labor in S.C. & beyond?!

Do you already know the National Toll Free number to call 1-888-3737-888 or share should you believe you are seeing a possible human trafficking situation?

Know it by heart.

Did you know that the Polaris Project at 1-888-3737-888 can assist in any language 24/7 if someone you may be helping doesn't speak English?

I did. They are a commendable clearinghouse.

When did you add 1-888-3737-888 to your mobile phone and/or your child's mobile phone?

No, I don't think that's necessary. In the case of a child, I would want them first to contact their parent or primary caregiver. I would expect that person to contact law enforcement or Polaris as circumstances dictate.

To help plan events for all members, please list the two or three larger cities nearest your location. We are not asking anyone to disclose their personal address or business location. Many members live outside SC & we aim to post events for all.

I hope to be counted among those who did not stand silent. FightSlaveryNow.Org has been working in New York to raise awareness and collaborate with other social justice groups to help eradicate modern-day slavery.

What avra c. is saying about this Meetup Group

Elie Wiesel: "I swore to never be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim, silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."
