Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is one of the 119 ecological reserves governed by the California Department of Fish and Game. It's primary purpose is habitat conservation. The reserve is relatively easy hiking through a canyon bottom that contains one of the densest stands of poison oak around providing beautiful late summer and early fall color. The poison oak is not a problem if one stays on the trail. Read more
