Sometimes, as a designer or a developer, especially if you're freelancing alone, it's helpful to be able to tap someone on the shoulder and say, "hey, look at this! what do you think?" If you have a project that fits the topic of the meetup (we'll do one for design, one for development, and any other topics you'd like to present/see), bring it in to show and tell, and get valuable feedback that will help you become a better professional.
