I decided to create this meetup because I’m one of those people who follows the murder cases and missing person stories on “Nancy Grace” and “Issues with Jane-Velez Mitchell.” I also enjoy a good trial on True TV. I’d like to bring people together who share this interest. Bring your insight and your suggestions. Here are just a few cases we could discuss:
The ongoing trial of Dr. Conrad Murray in the Michael Jackson death case. He is being tried for involuntary manslaughter.
The Susan Powell case -- wife goes missing, father-in-law claims she used to flirt with him, turns out he’s a collector of kiddie porn and now he’s in the slammer.
35 year-old Robyn Gardner went missing in Aruba. The prime suspect, Gary Giordano, claims Gardner drowned when she got caught in a strong undercurrent that he managed to escape.
In Nebraska, the stepfather of 8-year old Kerra Wilson (who claimed he dropped her off at school that day) was arrested after they found the girl’s body on the property of a local rancher.
And any others of interest; bring your suggestions.
We could meet once a month at a location that’s convenient for members. A coffee shop, Denny’s, wherever – we’ll figure it out.
