Urban Restoration Eco Open House at UMSL

The University of Missouri College Honors Explorer Post is seeking a few green students, aged 14 to 20, to help rehab a prairie on the UMSL campus. Interested students and parents can learn more at this open house. Meet south of the UMSL South Campus Parking Garage. Park in the garage's lowest level and exit south to the Urban Ecology Classroom Trailer.

The meet-up is for high school students and their families to find out about getting involved in an ongoing green career exploration program. We prepare students with hands-on experience with restoration ecology, campus ecology for sustainability, and conservation professionals.

This is a meet-up for high school students interested in learning about green careers, prairie restoration ecology, and campus ecology for sustainability. It is an outreach program of UMSL's Honors College meeting the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month. It is a part of CHERP - Campus Honors Environmental Research Program. We are working to return lands to their native Missouri wild state on campus and St. Vincent County Park.
