What do you see as the most unsustainable element in today's society?

Where to start? One of the biggest issues for this region has been the unbridled and unrestricted growth of the region. Every few years we rebuild houses, roads and schools a few miles further down the road. The ring suburbs and City decay in a ever growing outward ripple. Limiting growth, solving transportation issues and such would help.

What do you think we can do to fix that problem?

A growth restriction such as Portland has would concentrate growth in certain areas, preserve green space and stabilize property values and population shifts.

I am a film and video producer with a long standing interest in sustainable development and urban farming and intentional communities. I would like to meet and discuss these issues with like-minded St. Louisans.
