Love it so much! the fellowship, the ideas, the knowledge, the learning, the deep listening and thinking, the humor! So grateful to participate and to witness so much thoughtfulness/"exploration" and love of learning/thinking! Delightful people and minds and experiences! AGAIN, THANK YOU!!!

Found it most interesting that the optimists out numbered the pessimists in the group by about a 60/40 split. It was also interesting to approach the question from the perspective of "would you chose to live in any other time?" Virtually all of us agreed that we would still pick our current time if we had the choice. This suggest that there has been progress and reason to be optimistic. Yet, I would suggest that past progress is no assurance of future progress...

Nice to see a rebound in attendance. Tonight's question: are we optimistic about the future of mankind, had lots of eager idea-making. For me, it was most pleasing whenever we used Socratic questioning.

We are a small group, five or six regulars. This, however may the right size for serious discussion. There is considerable sophistication and education evident in the membership. However, I think we've really been learning how much civil discourse in this country has fallen and that it takes real effort to bring forth rational conversation. It would be a disaster if I were to leave the group ! Great coffee & cute waitress ! Just three of us tonite. But had great discussion with Dave and brand new member Terri. I am delighted with the opportunity to meet such interesting people. Our paths would not cross without this great group! Jon should be back next Wednesday.
