Jim Pehkonen ([address removed]) schedules monthly sacred sweat lodge ceremonies in the Cherokee Tradition with a wonderful Cherokee Spiritual Leader named Jim Pritchard.

Jim Pritchard is a wise, heart-centered spiritual leader with clear energy who holds a powerful space for transformation. He has led hundreds of sweats for Native Americans, prison inmates, kids in the Juvenile Justice System and folks like us AND he does it in the spirit of honoring both the Masculine and Feminine energies, which is beautifully healing.

This traditional ceremony combines the power of the elements for physical and spiritual purification. Sweat ceremonies been used for thousands of years by many cultures to meditate, to pray, to prepare for important life changes and to connect with Spirit because they work so powerfully.

People emerging from the lodge often describe it as 'feeling like a new born baby' because the Sweat Lodge has the spiritual powers and feelings of the womb (and interestingly In cold weather, a warm glowing feeling often lingers and in hot weather, the body feels cooler afterwards)

The Power of the "Tribe"

As a spiritually-connected community it will be even more powerful to bring our hearts/energies/prayers and intentions together in this way!

To reserve your spot on the cool, consecrated, dirt floor:
An RSVP and firm commitment is required (because a lot of energy goes into these (preparing space, wood, firekeeper, time, etc) and there is limited (physical) space in the lodge)

Suggested minimum donation of $30. That said, if you cannot afford this, do not let money stop you in attending. Feel into your heart around the donation.

Feel free to invite partners & friends.
We'll be able to accommodate the first 20 people.
Contact Jim Pehkonen ([address removed]) to register and for details on location and what to bring.
