Happiness Social

Positive psychology giant, Ed Diener said "There are no happy hermits". The Happiness Social is to give you an opportunity to meet potential friends - friends who, like you, want to be Happier.

Frank Clayton (The Happy Therapist) facilitates the fun and does a great job of mixing people and helping everyone feel comfortable.

Here's some comments from past Happiness Socials:

"I enjoyed myself. The group I was a part of was wonderful. Even though I am not into games, it was very enjoyable. We got to know each other through the game "

"I really didn't expect that playing board games would be as fun as it was. The guys on my team all had lots of travel experiences or other fascinating things to share. I had a great time. Thanks for all the help, Frank. Without you I would never have figured out Dominion"

"Great time at the happiness social. Met some fascinating people and we instantly clicked. The conversations were lively and plenty of laughter . I am looking forward to getting to know them better. Way to Go Frank Clayton with this program"

"This was the 4th Happiness Social I've attended and it was the best so far. Had a really good time and got to know a few people."

I had a rough time at this one. Frank had us do a story where everyone adds a couple of positive sentences in 15 second intervals...didn't work with my group. then we were supposed to say positive things about other members of the group for 1 min each and THAT really didn't work. It was an off day. Frank did a good job though. The other group seemed to be great.

Carolyn, I wasn't in your group to see what went down but I appreciate your feedback. You came back and joined all of us at the end. I was glad you did. Best wishes to you.

Hi Carolyn. I am dreadfully sorry you had a less-than-ideal experience. I try very hard to make sure it's a good experience for everyone. Any feedback about how I could have made it better is welcomed. Maybe you could e-mail it to me :)

Carolyn, sorry to hear this. Our group did really well. Many people go through all kinds of life crisis and it is easier to go through it with the group than alone. Maybe you should try to attend the science of happiness class. It is a lot of fun and great knowledge is presented at the same time. It works for me as a good as good therapy.

I had fun meeting new people and learning more about what makes people more comfortable and at ease to chat.

I won't be flying that weekend. This just took priority.
