Blog - If you missed any of the "Happy Hour" classes, you may download them FREE www.frankclayton.wordpress.com along with links to podcasts I have made available on www.YouTube.com (user name there is HappyTherapist). Also from the blog, you'll see I've created a Twitter presence (username: FrankClayton). If that's not enough, I can often be found on Facebook where I have created the group called "Happy in Happy Valley, UT". Search for me on Facebook by my username, FrankClayton or by E-mail [address removed]
Website - I have put together a team to help people in Salt Lake connect with all the wonderful therapeutic resources available in the valley. There are MANY! We have hired a marketing expert and a lawyer to help us do it up right. The working name for the past two years has been SaltLakeMentalHealth but just this week the name was changed. We expect to do a "soft launch" in the next two months and go live sometime in September. I REALLY wish I could tell you the name, but can't just yet. What I CAN tell you is that the site will not only help people to find services, it will have a special arm dedicated just to helping professions. If you are a professional that helps people in any way with issues around mental health (this means licensed people, clergy, life coaches, etc.), please E-mail us at [address removed] - this will become THE go-to place for ALL things mental health in the valley - you want to MAKE SURE you are on the list!
Accepting new clients. Yes, I am busy but I do have a couple of openings in my schedule at this time. I am on most Employee Assistance Programs* and accept most insurance. Call me at[masked]-9049.
*Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) is an opportunity for FREE THERAPY. If you or your significant other are employed by a mid-size or large company, you probably have EAP and do not even know it. Call your human resources, ask for the number to your EAP. They are a separate company, so your employer need not even know why you are calling (it could be for legal, financial OR mental health). EAP usually automatically authorizes 3-7 sessions of mental health and you do not even pay a co-pay! Depending on the plan, it can also apply to other family members, such as spouse or children.
