The San Diego 50+ "Friends Like Me" is a place of friendship for Divorced, Separated, Widowed or Widowers starting anew after a long marriage. I love my couple friends but that is no longer who I am- I started this group after exploring the local meetups for single activities. My children are grown or nearly so and now is my time. Meetups for Friends like me will be for the 50+ Women and Men, active(ish), fun and full of laughter and support for our new life styles. Meetups are dinners out or in, happy hours, card games, walks & talks, hikes, nights at the theater (movie or live), bonfires at the beach, museums and Magic Mountain, budget and splurges and much more. There is an annual trip to Catalina and a campout. We may even have our grown kids join us from time to time.
