Outdoor Shooting range with relaxed rules

Don't know if anybody has heard of South Bay Rod and Gun Club....
http://www.sbrgc.org/...
The times I've been there the safety officers are pretty relaxed and don't mind rapid fire shooting and whatnot. There are a total of 4 ranges but I mainly stick to the 50 yard range and 300 yard range. 20 Bucks buys you a whole day worth of shooting as long as there are no events on their calendar - 8am - 4pm I believe.

Split mountain road south... take the road until you have train tracks and dirt road on your left. Take the left, everything south of the train tracks towards the mountain is BLM... open shooting... pick up your trash or some hippie will flip out and make California ban target shooting.

There is also BLM land around the hill of that range you can shoot for FREE problem is there are only about 4 places you can shoot and you need a vehical with some ground clearance there's about 2 or 3 miles of dirt road you have to go over to get there. And the raners do patrol and you have to clean up after yourself. Picking up all brass and targets.

Im a member there, pretty cool place with cool RO's entry fee is $20 for non members, or you can pay $75 on your first visit and become a member for one year, no further fees. I try to go wednesday mornings, its a bit far but worth the druve from SD.

I love that range it's just so damned far away from Escondido. I can take the same time and go out to the desert and set up my own range :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
