This group is for people and dogs that love to work and play in the water. All dogs can benefit from building water confidence, focus, and purpose in a safe, pleasure driven, buoyant and beautifully organic environment. We love friendly wet dogs and all levels are welcome: from the canine athlete to the family pet, from those that have never set all four paws in the water to those that think they are a fish. Whether for competition or for recreation, join us to meet other water dog enthusiasts, exchange training ideas, have fun while enjoying the beauty of San Diego, and celebrate your water loving dog.

Enrich your dog's life with challenges such as: swimming with a person, surfing waves, diving for lost gear, retrieving toys and equipment, or rescuing a stranded boater.

Events will be full of fun and laughter and are a great way to mingle with other dog owners.

Lara Schindler is an ABC Certified Dog Trainer, an honors graduate of Animal Behavior College, and Pet First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. As owner and founder of Happy Dog Happy Owner she runs a San Diego-based dog training organization dedicated to helping dog owners develop successful relationships with their pets through positive reinforcement training techniques in obedience, fitness, and water sports.
