DjangoCon Preview

Going to DjangoCon US? Get a couple of talks out of the way beforehand. Not going this year? Come get a little slice of DjangoCon right here in SF.

Votizen employees Erik Rose and David Gouldin will be giving their DjangoCon talks, respectively titled Django's Nasal Passage and Using Celery with Social Networks.

Beer will be provided. If anyone would like to sponsor pizza, contact [masked]

Attendance is capped at 125 due to seating limitations, but if you're ok standing, feel free to come even if you're on the waiting list.

And hopefully the DjangoCon one will be up soon as well. I added quite a bit of new material.

You're welcome! Here's the video from DjangoCon:. And here are the slides: http://www.slideshare.... (The video is actually the first slide, because Slideshare is weird; just skip past that.)

Yes, thanks for coming out, and thanks for the great questions and discussion afterward! Don't be shy about feedback; we've got a week to polish before DjangoCon.

Thanks for coming everybody! You can keep up with Erik and me on twitter: @ErikRose and @dgouldin respectively. If you have any feedback for us before we leave for djangocon, it would be much appreciated!

Talks were informative and interesting -- would've liked a bit more depth and code samples

I believe one of my coworkers from Marakana will be there tonight to record the event. I'll ping the group when the video is up on Youtube.
