This location is shown only to members

ExtJS 3.0 is out as a release candidate! At this meetup we will have short feature demonstrations. Two signed up so far, sign up for others!

Will plan on having 4 short presentations on the new ExtJS 3.0 features at this meetup. This will be a demonstration with open discussions on these new features. We currently have two new feature demos ready and are looking for two more.

Peter Kellner : Use the new ExtJS Writer Proxy to update data store's. This demonstration will focus on how easy it is to connect an ExtJS Updateable Grid to a REST datasource. Create/Read/Update/Delete (CRUD) will be shown.

Xiaohui Chen : Will extend the first demonstration of CRUD using the new DirectStore to process updates. Direct implements remote procedure calls (RPC) in ExtJS. Xiaohui will show how to buffer CRUD calls so that all operations to a grid can be batched and sent in one request rather than multiple requests making for better user experiences and more efficient server utilization.
