Pack Surplus Medical Supplies at MedShare

MedShare is an organization that cleverly prevents the wasting of millions of pounds of medical supplies that would otherwise go to landfills by sorting them and sending them to developing countries. They've shipped containers to Haiti, Costa Rica, Ecuador-- over 800 shipping containers to 85 countries in total.

We will sort, box, and prepare surplus medical supplies. There will be a brief orientation session and then we'll get to work. Afterwards, we'll reward ourselves with some drinks and British-y snacks at the Englander Sports Pub.

What To Wear

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. The warehouse has no heating or air conditioning so dress in layers and take into consideration the outside temperature. Closed-toe shoes are required.  No sandals, flip flops or high heels allowed.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
