Help collect the abundance of donations St. Anthony receives during the holidays by working out in front of our building collecting turkeys, pantry items, and toiletries. Must be comfortable standing and lifting up to 15lbs.
• Event Schedule:
Please report promptly to 150 Golden Gate Avenue. A St. Anthony Foundation (SAF) staff member will greet you and provide instruction for the Curbside tasks.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Water and restrooms are available. There is limited space to store valuables, we recommend that you bring only what you will need for the day.
Part of the package you are receiving today includes our Volunteer Release of Liability form. Each participant is requested to sign a copy. These forms will be collected upon your arrival at St. Anthony Foundation. I will be emailing the forms before the event as well as provide copies at the event for those who need them.
In arranging your visit, we urge you to consider arriving by public transportation, if possible. Both BART and MUNI trains stop at the Civic Center Station – a convenient two-block walk from our facility. MUNI Busses 5 (Fulton/McAllister), 31 (Turk), and 21 Hayes, and all of the Market Street busses and trolleys, let passengers off within a block of St. Anthony’s. Reasonably priced pay-for-parking is also available at the corner of Golden Gate and Jones Street.
• About St. Anthony's Foundation:
