KQED Radio On-Air Fundraising Drive - 10 Volunteers

  • Jan 25, 2014 · 8:00 AM

Fundraising drives are KQED's most important fundraising effort. Between January 22 through February 7, KQED will be holding their Winter KQED Radio On-Air Fundraising Drive. Fundraising volunteers will help by answering phones and taking donations/pledges or supervising. Light breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks will be provided through donations from local companies.

Note: Volunteers must be comfortable using a computer in order to enter donations on to the laptop system. Volunteers must be age 16 or older.
(I added 5 more spots to the original 5. May add more if KQED needs more help.)

Location: KQED, 2601 Mariposa Street, San Francisco, CA
Transit: 9, 22, 27, 33, 90, 292, 397
Parking: Street parking & Parking garage. Volunteers may park in the KQED garage (entrance on York St.) on a “space available” basis. An attendant will be at the garage entrance most of the time but if an attendant is not there, you will need to register with the lobby receptionist (entrance on Mariposa St.)
Food: KQED provides food appropriate to the shift. Keep in mind that all food is donated so if you have special dietary requirements, please make other arrangements. The morning shifts will be provided with bagels & coffee.

Thank you again to everyone who came out and help. During our shift, WE RAISED $66,709! KQED greatly appreciates Giving Tree for helping with the drive.

They're still having the pledge drive for another 2 weeks, and they said there are still openings. If you call them directly I'm sure anyone still interested can still help out.
