At The Crossroads' Homeless Youth - Pack Supplies

We will fold donated clothes, pack food, medical supplies, and other items for homeless youth. We will be divided into several groups in close quarters, each focusing on an activity. There is a lot of interactions with other volunteers and the ATC staff, and it is a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.

Refreshments: Fancy chocolates, homemade cookies, fruit and refreshments are provided by ATC.

RSVP: Please update your RSVP right away if your plans change. They are counting on us for our help.

Afterwards: We can grab some food and drinks in the neighborhood. If you meet other cool volunteers at ATC who are not with our group, invite them along too!

At The Crossroads:

At The Crossroads reaches out to homeless youth at their point of need (street outreach) and works with them to build healthy and fulfilling lives. They work with more than 200 youth every week, providing them with supplies and counseling.

Hey everybody, Thanks for coming out tonight! Whether you cleaned bags, sorted socks, folded clothes or did a handful of other useful tasks, know that your two hours of work went a long way in helping ATC reach out to SF's homeless youth. I hope you had an opportunity to meet some cool people (even if they weren't from the Giving Tree) and spread the good word about volunteering - it's contagious. Next time I'll make sure to bring some name tags and a signup sheet as was recommended by a couple of you.

Take care and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

No problem, Dtrouard. There will be plenty more events to help with in the future. Look forward to seeing you next time.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
