Wrappers Delight! Help wrap gifts for At the Crossroad's Homeless Youth

Work with our group and about 20 other holiday elves to wrap and decorate 500 gifts for the homeless youth and their children served by At the Crossroad's (http://atthecrossroads.org/) .  You will be wrapping the gifts that will be given to 150-200 of ATC's clients and their children at their parties on December 18th and 20th, and to about 100 additional clients who can't make the party.

Help make the holidays merry for these courageous youth..AND have a good time wrapping gifts, drinking some eggnog, listening to holiday music, and eating delicious treats made by ATC's appreciative staff.

The more the merrier!  Bring your friends (just make sure to indicate +1s).

It is important to update your rsvp right away if your plans change - they are counting on us for our help.

If you can't attend but would like to help, you can read more about their holiday parties and gift donations (including unused gift cards) sought at http://www.atthecrossroads.org/campaign/atthecrossroadsholidaypartyIf you are attending and would like to bring a gift card ($20 value) to the wrapping party it would be most appreciated (but certainly not required).

The top five ATC client requests for $20 gift certificates are to:

Ross Walgreens Safeway Target Shiekh Shoes (this store is located at 929 Market at Turk,  1 1/2 blocks from Westfield shopping center and the Powell Street BART)

We are maxed out on attendees to this event - ATC can't accomodate more than the 26 we have signed up, so please do NOT bring anyone you haven't rsvp'd for already. And, as always, update if your plans have changed! If you opted to buy a gift card as a present, don't forget to bring it! Looking forward to seeing you all there! I will be wearing a santa hat and checking folks in.

Steve, I don't think that will be a big problem for this event. But please do check in with me when you arrive. (This is not license for everyone to be late ;)

Is there a need for wrapping paper/ribbon/supplies? I can bring it if needed

I just heard back from Rob, the ATC coordinator for this event. They would be delighted to have additional wrapping paper and ribbon. HOWEVER, absolutely NO BLUE OR RED!!! No exceptions. He didn't say why but when I lived in the Mission these were gang-affiliated colors. Thanks for thinking of this. Also, note that they are looking for $20 gift cards if anyone is so inclined. I will post the list of preferred stores as soon as I get them.
