The World Affairs Challenge is an innovative program and academic competition on international affairs for middle and high school students. With the help of a coach, students join teams at their school and research a topic relating to a global theme. Students participate in four events involving presentation, collaborative decision making, art and content knowledge. Students build skills like critical thinking, teamwork, public speaking and leadership. Each year, the Challenge addresses a different global theme.
This year’s theme is “6 Billion on the Move: Human Migration in a Global Society.”

Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of response for volunteering without an orientation, but if any of you can spare the extra time and do an orientation to be one of the other 2 volunteer types, that would be splendid!
There is a volunteer form that I will email you after you RSVP and indicate which type of volunteer you'd like to be. This needs to be sent back to our WAC organizer by February 13th!
Thank you, as always, for Giving!!
