Learn about Alexander Technique

Stress Related injuries, how modern technology is killing us and How The Alexander Technique Can give you a proven method to deal with it.

Computers, phones, information technology, are all amazing interesting things and in many ways we are very fortunate to be living in a time when they are available to us. On the other hand over use can lead to stress related injuries, stiff necks, bad backs and shoulder problems to name just a few things. On a collective level companies lose billions of dollars a year on insurance pay outs, days missed at work and losing well trained employees when the pain gets to be too much to bear.

Sloped shoulders, and bad posture can seem like the cause, but in reality they are just habits of tension that can be changed. For many it seems like nothing will help, and that the pain situation is hopeless but I’m here to teach you that this does not have to be the case. You can change your habits and the result can be increased joy and productivity and a reduction of how tired and stressed you are at the end of the day. Many things out there are great at treating the symptoms, The Alexander Technique gets to the core body habits that are the cause of such tension and injuries and gives you a means whereby you can learn to help you help yourself. There is hope!

I’m a certified Alexander Technique Teacher and have completed a 3 year training course. I love teaching people how they can take better care of themselves without drugs or surgery.
