Quirky and Fun Entertainment!

I like weird events that aren't stuffy and a little off the beaten path. I am interested in poetry readings, lectures, book signings, theater, art openings, experimental music, and other related events. I'm hoping to find a few like minded folks in the Bay Area who would like to attend these events on occasion with me! I am looking for cheap stuff to do so you won't find any opera or symphony events here (unless they're free!)

So many artists out there, it's great to support your local art scene and check out what creative people are trying to do and say all over the place. We may be seeing things that are edgy, alternative or downright bizarre so come with an open mind and prepare to have some fun!

RSVP policy: If you RSVP yes, please show up. If you can't come, please change your RSVP to no as soon as possible so that we're not looking for you. I reserve the right to delete people who are repeated no shows because I think that is totally rude. No fee to join us - $1 donation is suggested to help me cover the monthly meet up fees which are $15/month for organizers to have a group.

I am open to suggestions and if anyone wants to be an assistant organizer, let's talk.
