Keynote Speaker: Robert G. Gish, MD, President of Robert G. Gish Consultants, LLC.
Dr. Gish maintains ethical and long-standing relationships with industry as a specialist physician, translational and clinical research scientist, and expert educator in liver and liver transplant programs, including hepatitis B and C that are rampant in the Asian community. These collaborations have produced many improvements to patient care and public health over Dr. Gish's 30-year career. Dr. Gish dedicates at least 500 uncompensated hours every year in voluntary leadership roles for professional and advocacy organizations in the U.S., as well as in Vietnam. He supports several nonprofit organizations' liver disease awareness, prevention, detection, and treatment programs.

“Bridging Two Cultures”


The San Francisco – Ho Chi Minh City Sister City Committee in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Commerce will recognize and present awards to individuals and organizations that have contributed to the improvement of the Vietnamese American and the Vietnamese communities, enabled the Committee to effectively carry out its mission, as well as aided in the preservation of Vietnamese Art and Culture.

Proceeds for this year’s dinner will go toward the building of the committee’s educational, healthcare, culture, biotechnology, trade and other programs.
