So far I have litle to go by, but it's all good. I saw an announcement on the Meetup Groups calendar and "crashed" the hike to Gould Mesa... everyone was friendly as expected and accepted me into the group; and since I've been hiking on my own for almost five years, it's nice to have traveling companions. I live right near the edge of Eaton Canyon in Altadena and have been hiking the San Gabriels since 2002. Looking forward to more meetups!
