8:00am talk; ~9:00am walk (~ 2.5 miles around lake for those interested)

**I'll bring some fruit if anyone's interested in a snack as we gather. If others would like to contribute an item feel free to let the group know. No pressure at all to bring anything though, it's just for fun. See you then! Christen

This is a very popular book that recently came out as a movie. It is about a 16 year-old Indian boy's passage to a new life in America aboard a freighter ends in a shipwreck in the Pacific. He is left to fend for himself on a life raft with an orangutan, a zebra, a hyena and a Bengal tiger.

Jolayne, it's always nice to have your company. If you wanted to refrain from hearing details of the book you are welcome to join for the walk.

We often pass multiple dogs along the Lake's trails, so bringing your dog would be fine, Judy.

I loved the book and the movie as well. Wish I could join you for the discussion in June. I hope for the next one, though.
