Hello all,
This book is much, much longer than I thought it would be. I would like to suggest that you choose a random chapter that appears interesting, read it and come in prepared to discuss it and to argue the scientific point of view from your specific chapter. Of course if you want to read more, feel free! But I don't want people to be scared off thinking they have to read the whole thing (especially since I'm going out on a limb to say we won't have anyone taking the author's side on things).
NOTE: if by some chance there is a member reading this who believes in creationism, please, come and join our always friendly and respectful discussion! It would really add to it to have some opposing viewpoints! Now is your opportunity to convert a roomful of cranky atheists. :P
Hope to see you next week,
