Bike Ride and Breakfast

Enjoy the early spring morning with an easy fun bike ride along the canal with breakfast at the midway point. We ride to the restaurant and return the exact same route.
Meeting Place: Arizona Falls, formed by a natural 20-foot drop along the Arizona Canal between what is now 56th and 58th streets, reopened in June 2003 as a restored hydroelectric plant and neighborhood gathering place where visitors can learn, interact and reflect. A unique place. Parking on the N side of Indian School Road just East of 56th St.

Breakfast place: First Watch restaurant, 9645 N Black Canyon Highway. This is one of the more interesting breakfast places in Phoenix.

Biking distance: Approximately 20 miles on canal banks and paved bike path with no elevation change except the canal grading. Bike helmets are mandatory. Fat tire bike recommended.

Bike helmets are mandatory.

Annette, there are a few bike shops that rent bicycles. I do not know their rates. Depending on the distance, you may have to transport the bicycle. Good luck. Biking is so fun.

I don't have, a bike. Can I rent one there?

Hi Annette, you cannot rent a bike there, however, there are several places in Scottsdale where you can rent a bike. I would stay away from the Cruiser type bike.
