Heard Museum - FREE

Let's meetup in front of the entrance of the Heard Museum. Explore the museum, and make new friends.

Check out the wonderful cafe there to grab a lunch or snacks. There will be another Meetup group there too. Lots of friendly folks to meet! What a great way to get out of the heat, and get some culture. Free Admission on Sundays in July! The museum has a big parking lot.

Dedicated to the sensitive and accurate portrayal of Native arts and cultures, the Heard is an institution that successfully combines the stories of American Indian people from a personal perspective with the beauty of art. More info at

The Hoop Dancers were fantastic...nice to see so many familiar faces...sorry I did not get to meet everyone from both groups. Very nice way to spend a Sunday.

We had a pleasant time seeing the exhibits and re-connecting with old friends. There were several other Meetup groups there, and a hoop-dance performance at 12:30. Later, some of us went to Macayo's for a Mexican lunch.
