For some bizarre reason, the Meetup software keeps putting the photos from the TCA Ballet Under the Stars in here! It does not recognize that the SMOCA event even took place, and it will not allow me to create a new album! If I delete these ballet photos, it will delete the entire album for the Ballet event.

Very sorry for the malfunction! To view the 5 photos I took, go to Alyce's alternate Meetup website: The Art Workshop.

Oh my! What a GALA Affair it was! A mob of people, as there was a private pre-showing for VIP members just prior to it opening to the public at 7 pm, so there were hors d'oeuvres and wine to compliment the viewing! There were some thought-provoking minimalism sculpture pieces and some mind-blowing Origami and paintings! The ingenuity of some of the Japanese artists was so stimulating! I highly recommend that people go see the exhibit this fall...and read the descriptions to fully understand how and from what it was created.

After, some of us went next door for a late snack and drinks. All-in-all a GREAT evening!
