Sunday Afternoon Concert at El Pedregal

The band Marmalade Skies presents a Musical Tribute to The Beatles!

Best Beatles tribute band EVER!! The members of Marmalade Skies are seasoned, professional musicians. This concert kicks off the El Pedregal Spring Series

Bring your folding chairs to sit in the courtyard of El Pedregal. This will be a popular concert. No entry fee. Plenty of parking. No outside food or drink is permitted, as wine and food is being sold at the concert. The drive from the city is scenic. You will love seeing the Boulders and there are interesting shops for browsing as well.

Let's enjoy the weather. Come early so we can find each other, and sit together. Closer to the date of this event, I will announce what color balloon we will have...Music starts at 1 PM. More info is sent to YES RSVP's only.

Stepped out the door before leaving for concert at Pedregal. Noticed that the wind was blowing and temps were below average. Guess what I did, went inside and put on my winter jacket and scarf.Stayed until the last note was played, never felt chilled. Great event.

Though it was chilly when the wind picked up, the band was awesome!

We got there by 12:30 and were lucky to find a place to park our chairs. Never saw any balloons though, so have no idea where our group was. Show was good, and we left after the 2nd set, frozen stiff. Would enjoy more entertainment at this venue, once the weather has warmed a bit. :-)

Hi - I have a sore throat and laryngitis today and won't be at concert. I have contacted a few people to ask them to bring the yellow balloon.
Here is where we usually sit: If you are facing the stage, we are are in the left rear corner, under the trees. Not near the stage. There will be hundreds of people there for the show, weather report today is: sunny, windy, 60 degrees.
Hope u all have fun - great band! - Alyce

I'm going to bail since I've had a cold all week. Went to the Japanese festival yesterday, it was great. Resting for work today though. Have fun everyone.

Today is George Harrison's birthday! What a better way to spend a Sunday than groovin' to the Beatles.

    Looking forward to this event.

I have emailed the YES attendees info about where we are sitting! I doubt that all 94 will show up, but doesn't matter, as I don't take a headcount at these large outdoor concerts.

Hi, this is all new to me but I am excited about the opportunity to get a little out of my comfort zone! I have a couple of questions. I am interested in the Beatles tribute and it says that I can bring a guest. Does my 44 year old daughter qualify? The other question is, if I don't attend 3 events that I have RSVPed to I may be dropped. Is that correct? Again I am so happy to have found you and I am looking forward to makeing some great new friends

    • Alyce

Hi Esther, Certainly bring your daughter. This concert event has 'unlimited RSVP'. The 3-strikes rule applies to events that have a waiting list. Please read my letter in the discussions tab to learn more about RSVPs.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
