Bring a game you're developing, and find out how well it's working. Is it fun? Interesting? Challenging? Balanced? If you don't have a game of your own to play-test, just come & play! (And give feedback, of course.)
Please tell us in your RSVP what you want to bring to us.
This is a forum for people interested in designing and play-testing tabletop games (board, card, tile, meeple, face-to-face) game designs. We meet to discuss design issues, play-test games, and share the craft. Raw prototypes and experimentation are encouraged!
The most important tool a game designer can have (beside his/her imagination) is play-testers. This group is open to game designers as well as others who are willing to play new games and give honest feedback.
At each meeting, designers who have previously helped to play-test member games are given priority for conducting a play-test or discussing a design issue.
Any member can schedule a Meet-Up for any game related event...
One of the most difficult tasks men can perform, however much others may despise it, is the invention of good games and it cannot be done by men out of touch with their instinctive selves.
