Border Collies and their owners are a special group. We are known at the dog parks as "advanced dog owners", Crazy or we have been diagnosed with some sort of OCD. We are just people who love dogs that can read latin, herd ants and provide that partnership only a BC can provide.

I wanted to start a group like this because I get so many questions about my BC Katie and BCs in general at the dog parks. So many first time owners get so freaked out. This group is about support, answering questions and to find people who would like to get together and organize walks and playtimes.

You should join this group if you have, want or ever wondered about BCs.

"My name is Amber. I have an almost 2yo Aussie (I think) that I rescued from an abusive home. I don't really know what breed she is besides she looks, and acts, mostly Aussie. Nor do I know how old she is exactly. But I love her more than anything."

"I just recently came into the world of Border Collies when I adopted my baby boy, Scout, an 8 week old Borador (3/4 BC and 1/3 Black Lab). I'd be open to any advice on raising a BC pup!"

"My dog Levi is a 3 year old brown tri aussie. He is a good disc dog. I am not a good disc thrower. But, somehow we manage to get points on the board - novice class mind you - in the local disc dog events. We live in the Juanita Bay area of Kirkland."

"I often take Ayden to Discovery Park. There are some lesser used trails and big open fields to play in. It's not an off-leash park, but unofficial areas of off-leash use are established. -Just another consideration."

"Hello, I'm Steph and my smarter half is Ayden. She's a 5 year old Aussie with a strong herding drive and a love for all disc play. We 'd love to meet others who play like we do :)"
