Seattle on Rails - First Rails Practice - Twilio

Seattle on Rails promotes excellence with Ruby on Rails through collaboration, communication and community.  At every meeting, we will focus on doing.

At our first meeting, we will have a talk/code demo after which we will break into pairs, fork a project and practice what we have just heard. By the time you leave, you will have coded what was taught.

Carter Rabasa from Twilio will show us how to use some of the SMS and Voice Twilio APIs from Rails then will be around to help people work through the coding practice.

It is best if you have an understanding of the basics, Git Workflow, Rails/Rake commands, Basic Rails/Ruby programming.  We will pair people with others of like skill so if people are still learning, this will be an opportunity to lean together.

Will be bring Pizza && Beer.

  Please thank Carter twice.

Great event for all railers as the event organizer does a good job in pairing you up with someone of similar skill level.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
