Too cool, wish I lived in Seattle!

Do you know of anyone to send my information on to? We need some folks
that would like to Relo to Nashville. TWO Senior RoR permanent or
contract to hire openings in town. 8 man team adding 2 positions.
Writing software solutions for large insurance provider as well as going
to market with those solutions. "cool" work environment with good
people. TDD / Agile environment.

Thank you,

Subject: [seattle-rails] Scholarship for women at coding school

Hi Seattle Railers! Epicodus is a four-month, full-time coding school
for people who want to change careers into web development. We're
offering a 5% off scholarship for women in the Seattle Rails Meetup; our
tuition is $3,400, or you can pay $0 up-front and $625 monthly for
8 months after class ($5,000 total). Men are also very welcome to apply
at Epicodus!

Our class covers JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, and Rails, with a big emphasis
on test-driven development and object-oriented design. (Our entire
curriculum is online and free at www.learnhowtoprogram.com if you'd like
to check it out.) For the last month of class, students work in teams of
6 to build apps for local non-profits (for example,
stolen-bicycle-registry.herokuapp.com). We also provide a lot of support
for getting jobs - we spend an entire week on resume prep, practice
interviews, and a job fair (www.epicodus.com/job-fair.html).

The one catch: we're a hop, skip, and a jump down in Portland. But hey,
it's not that far, right? Come enjoy a tiny bit more sunshine with us
for a few months!

If you're interested, check out www.epicodus.com/students.html to learn
more and apply.

Feel free to reply to me with any questions at all!
